3D is a still 3 dimensional image while 4D adds the dimension of time (motion)

A 3D/4D ultrasound uses the same frequency as the ultrasound your doctor will use in 2D. Ultrasounds have been performed for over 35 years and there have been no proven side effects to its proper use.

Because this is an elective , non diagnostic ultrasound, we do not accept insurance.

• Pay attention to when your baby is most active during the day and try to schedule your appointment during that time
• Pay attention to whether eating or drinking impact your baby's energy level and according to that try to eat or not eat right before your ultrasound
• Most importantly STAY HYDRATED!!! Great pictures are obtained when levels of amniotic fluid are good, so remember to drink plenty of water.

The best images for 3D/4D are obtained during 26-34 weeks of pregnancy.

Usually, but not always. Your baby will determine how much will be seen, i.e. if your baby is facing your spine, it may be difficult to see your baby's face. Every baby scans differently, depending on baby's gestational age, positioning, placenta location, amount of amniotic fluid and mother's body type. However, we promise to make every effort to obtain the best images possible.

No. This is an elective ultrasound and is not to replace your physician ordered medical ultrasound. 

Yes, in most cases we are able to determine the gender. We provide gender determination beginning at 16 weeks, but the longer you wait the better the odds of determination. However, we can't guarantee that the baby will cooperate during your session. If we are unable to determine gender, then we will bring you back for a (1) time free rescan.
